Welcome to MoreIndia Travels (“MoreIndia Travels”, “we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with MoreIndia Travels, whether through our website, email, telephone, social media, travel agents, or any other booking channel.
By making a booking with MoreIndia Travels, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. The person making the booking accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all travelers included in the reservation and is responsible for ensuring that every traveler is aware of them.
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between MoreIndia Travels and the traveler.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
Company
means MoreIndia Travels.
Traveler
means any person named on the booking confirmation.
Lead Traveler
means the person who makes the booking and is responsible for all payments and communication.
Tour
means any itinerary, holiday package, private tour, day tour, excursion, transfer, hotel booking, transportation service, or travel-related service arranged by MoreIndia Travels.
Supplier
means any independent hotel, airline, railway, transport company, guide, restaurant, activity provider, cruise company or other third-party service provider.
Force Majeure
means any event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, terrorism, war, strikes, airport closures, severe weather, transportation disruptions or any other extraordinary circumstance.
2. Acceptance of Booking
A booking becomes confirmed only when:
- We receive the required deposit or full payment.
- We issue a written booking confirmation.
- Availability has been confirmed by all suppliers.
Until written confirmation is issued, prices and availability remain subject to change.
MoreIndia Travels reserves the right to decline any booking before confirmation without providing a reason.
3. Eligibility to Book
By making a booking you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract.
- The information you provide is accurate and complete.
- You have authority to accept these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all travelers in your booking.
4. Booking Process
Bookings may be made through:
- Our website
- Telephone
- Authorized Travel Agents
- Online Travel Agencies
- Social Media
- Any official booking platform operated by MoreIndia Travels
A booking confirmation together with your invoice will be sent once your reservation has been confirmed.
5. Prices
All prices are quoted in the currency stated on the quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise stated, prices include only the services specifically listed under “Inclusions.”
Prices do not include any services listed under “Exclusions.”
Prices are based on exchange rates, fuel prices, taxes, supplier costs and government regulations applicable at the time of quotation.
Should any of these factors change before final payment or travel, MoreIndia Travels reserves the right to adjust the tour price accordingly. Any such adjustment will be communicated in writing.
Obvious pricing errors may be corrected at any time before confirmation.
6. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
At Booking
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to secure your reservation.
Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be received no later than 45 days before arrival.
For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
Some luxury hotels, heritage hotels, trains, domestic flights, wildlife lodges, festivals, special events, Christmas, New Year, and peak-season departures may require higher deposits or full prepayment. These conditions will be communicated before confirmation.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking and applicable cancellation charges.
7. Payment Methods
We accept payment through approved methods including:
- International Bank Transfer
- Wise
- Credit Card
- Debit Card
- Secure Online Payment Gateway
- Other approved payment methods advised by us
Bank charges, intermediary bank fees, exchange costs, and transfer charges are the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise agreed.
8. Currency Fluctuations
Tour prices are calculated using prevailing exchange rates.
If significant exchange rate fluctuations occur before final payment, we reserve the right to revise prices where supplier costs have increased.
9. Government Taxes
Quoted prices include only those taxes specifically mentioned in your quotation.
Any new government taxes, tourism levies, airport fees, monument fees, GST increases or similar charges introduced after booking shall be payable by the traveler.
10. Passport Requirements
Every traveler must possess:
- A valid passport.
- Sufficient passport validity according to destination requirements.
- Required blank passport pages.
- All documents necessary for travel.
It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to ensure passport validity.
MoreIndia Travels accepts no responsibility for denied boarding or refused entry due to inadequate travel documents.
11. Visa Requirements
Travelers are solely responsible for obtaining:
- Tourist visas
- Transit visas
- Entry permits
- Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETA/eVisa)
- Any other required documentation
We may provide guidance regarding visa procedures; however, visa approval remains entirely at the discretion of the issuing government.
Visa refusal does not entitle the traveler to a refund beyond the applicable cancellation policy.
12. Travel Insurance (Mandatory)
We strongly recommend—and for certain tours may require—that every traveler purchase comprehensive travel insurance before departure.
Your insurance should cover, at minimum:
- Medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- Hospitalization
- Trip cancellation
- Trip interruption
- Personal accident
- Baggage loss
- Flight delays
- Personal liability
- Natural disasters
- COVID-19 or other infectious diseases where available
MoreIndia Travels is not responsible for any uninsured losses.
13. Health Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in the booked tour.
You must inform us before booking of:
- Serious medical conditions
- Disabilities
- Mobility limitations
- Pregnancy
- Dietary requirements
- Allergies
- Any special assistance required
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect our ability to provide services safely.
We reserve the right to refuse participation where health or safety may be compromised.
14. Vaccinations
Travelers are responsible for checking current vaccination and health requirements recommended by:
- Their home country’s health authorities
- Indian Government regulations
- Destination authorities
Any costs associated with vaccinations or medical requirements are the responsibility of the traveler.
15. Special Requests
Special requests such as:
- Connecting rooms
- King or twin beds
- Early check-in
- Late check-out
- Dietary preferences
- Wheelchair assistance
- Celebration arrangements
- Honeymoon amenities
will be forwarded to the relevant suppliers.
While we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate such requests, they cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
16. Accommodation
Hotel classifications are based on local standards.
Star ratings may differ significantly between countries.
Room allocation is entirely controlled by the hotel.
Photographs displayed on our website are representative only.
Check-in and check-out times are determined by individual hotels.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges unless specifically included.
17. Flights
Unless expressly stated in your quotation or booking confirmation, international flights are not included in the tour price.
Where domestic flights within India or neighboring countries are included:
- Flight schedules are determined by the operating airline and may change without prior notice.
- Airlines may alter departure times, routes, aircraft types, baggage allowances, or operating carriers.
- MoreIndia Travels acts solely as an intermediary in arranging air travel and is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, denied boarding, overbooking, baggage handling, or operational decisions made by the airline.
- Any additional costs resulting from airline schedule changes beyond our reasonable control may be payable by the traveler unless covered by the airline or travel insurance.
Travelers are responsible for arriving at the airport in sufficient time for check-in and security procedures.
18. Rail Travel
India’s railway system is operated by government authorities and is subject to availability and operational conditions.
Please note:
- Train schedules may change without notice.
- Train delays and cancellations occasionally occur.
- Preferred seating classes cannot always be guaranteed.
- Waitlisted tickets may occasionally require alternative transportation arrangements.
Where necessary, MoreIndia Travels reserves the right to substitute train travel with private road transport or domestic flights of a comparable standard.
19. Ground Transportation
Transportation will be provided according to the confirmed itinerary using appropriate vehicles based on the group size.
Vehicle categories may include:
- Sedan
- SUV
- Toyota Innova Crysta
- Tempo Traveller
- Mini Coach
- Luxury Coach
Vehicle upgrades or changes may be made without additional cost where operationally necessary.
Drivers are required to comply with Indian traffic laws and working-hour regulations. Requests that violate these regulations cannot be accommodated.
20. Tour Itinerary
Our itineraries are carefully planned; however, flexibility is sometimes necessary due to local conditions.
We reserve the right to modify:
- sightseeing order,
- accommodation,
- transportation,
- departure times,
- attractions,
- routes,
- activities,
where reasonably necessary due to operational requirements, weather conditions, road closures, government restrictions, safety considerations, supplier availability, festivals, or other circumstances.
Where possible, we will substitute services with alternatives of similar standard and value.
Such changes do not automatically entitle travelers to compensation or refunds.
21. Changes Requested by the Traveler
If you request changes after your booking has been confirmed, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.
Changes may include:
- travel dates,
- hotels,
- room types,
- transportation,
- destinations,
- activities,
- traveler names,
- extensions.
All amendments are subject to availability.
Additional costs imposed by suppliers, together with any administrative costs incurred by MoreIndia Travels, will be payable by the traveler.
Certain airline tickets, train tickets, wildlife permits, monument tickets, and special event reservations may be non-changeable and non-refundable.
22. Cancellation by the Traveler
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email from the Lead Traveler.
The effective cancellation date will be the date on which written notice is received by MoreIndia Travels.
Unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation, the following cancellation charges apply:

Please note that some services—including luxury hotels, palace hotels, wildlife safaris, domestic flights, train tickets, cruises, festival departures, permits, and special events—may be subject to stricter cancellation conditions. Any such conditions will be clearly communicated before booking confirmation.
Refunds, where applicable, will normally be processed within 30 business days after receiving all supplier refunds.
Bank charges, foreign exchange losses, payment gateway fees, and non-refundable supplier charges may be deducted from the refund amount where permitted by law.
23. Cancellation by MoreIndia Travels
We reserve the right to cancel a tour before departure where necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control or where the minimum operational requirements cannot be met.
Where we cancel your tour for reasons within our control, you may choose one of the following options:
- a comparable alternative tour,
- a credit for future travel,
- or a refund of all amounts paid to MoreIndia Travels for the affected land services.
Our liability shall not extend beyond the refund of monies actually received by us for the cancelled services.
We are not responsible for any independently arranged services such as international flights, visas, travel insurance, or personal expenses unless required by applicable law.
24. Force Majeure
MoreIndia Travels shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its contractual obligations where such failure results from events beyond our reasonable control.
Force Majeure events include, but are not limited to:
- natural disasters,
- earthquakes,
- floods,
- cyclones,
- landslides,
- epidemics,
- pandemics,
- public health emergencies,
- acts of terrorism,
- civil unrest,
- riots,
- war,
- political instability,
- government restrictions,
- border closures,
- airport closures,
- industrial action,
- strikes,
- fuel shortages,
- adverse weather,
- transportation disruption,
- acts of God,
- or any similar extraordinary event.
Where Force Majeure affects your tour:
- itineraries may be modified,
- hotels may be substituted,
- transportation may change,
- sightseeing may be altered,
- or the tour may be postponed or cancelled.
No compensation shall be payable for losses arising directly or indirectly from Force Majeure.
Refunds, where available, will depend on the recoverable amounts received from our suppliers.
25. Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to:
- supplier refund policies,
- cancellation charges,
- non-refundable deposits,
- banking fees,
- payment gateway charges,
- foreign exchange variations.
Unused services voluntarily not taken by the traveler are generally non-refundable.
Examples include:
- missed sightseeing,
- unused meals,
- late arrivals,
- early departures,
- missed flights,
- missed trains,
- optional activities,
- or accommodation not utilized.
26. No-Show
Failure to arrive for any booked service without prior written notification shall constitute a No-Show.
In such cases:
- all booked services may be cancelled,
- no refunds will normally be payable,
- additional costs arising from rebooking shall be the responsibility of the traveler.
27. Supplier Responsibility
Hotels, airlines, railways, transport providers, guides, restaurants, cruise operators, activity providers, and other suppliers are independent contractors.
MoreIndia Travels acts as a tour operator coordinating these services.
We are not responsible for:
- operational decisions of suppliers,
- airline schedule changes,
- hotel overbooking,
- railway operational issues,
- weather-related interruptions,
- supplier insolvency,
- or services beyond our reasonable control.
However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers in resolving issues whenever possible.
28. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MoreIndia Travels shall not be liable for:
- indirect losses,
- consequential damages,
- loss of enjoyment,
- loss of profits,
- emotional distress,
- missed business opportunities,
- or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control.
Our total liability in respect of any booking shall not exceed the total amount actually paid to MoreIndia Travels for the affected land arrangements, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
29. Traveller Responsibilities
All travelers are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout their journey.
By booking with MoreIndia Travels, you agree to:
- Comply with the laws and regulations of India and any other destination visited.
- Respect local customs, traditions, religions, wildlife, and cultural heritage.
- Follow the reasonable instructions of your tour leader, driver, local guides, accommodation providers, and other service providers.
- Ensure that your travel documents, visas, insurance, vaccinations, and personal belongings remain valid and secure throughout your journey.
- Arrive on time for transfers, sightseeing, excursions, and other scheduled activities.
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in the cancellation of services without refund where reasonably necessary for the safety, security, or enjoyment of other travelers.
30. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable travel experience for all guests.
MoreIndia Travels reserves the right to refuse or terminate the participation of any traveler whose behavior:
- Endangers themselves or others.
- Is abusive, threatening, violent, or discriminatory.
- Causes damage to property.
- Violates local laws or regulations.
- Seriously disrupts the enjoyment of other travelers.
- Places our employees, guides, drivers, or suppliers at risk.
If a traveler is removed from a tour for these reasons, no refund or compensation will be payable, and the traveler will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
31. Alcohol and Illegal Drugs
Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted where appropriate.
However:
- Excessive alcohol consumption that affects safety or disrupts the tour is not permitted.
- The possession, use, purchase, or distribution of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly prohibited.
- Any traveler found engaging in illegal activities may be removed from the tour immediately without refund and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
32. Damage to Property
Travelers are financially responsible for any damage or loss caused by their actions to:
- Hotels
- Vehicles
- Heritage properties
- Wildlife lodges
- Boats
- Equipment
- Restaurants
- Private property
- Public property
Any repair, replacement, cleaning, legal, or administrative costs arising from such damage shall be the responsibility of the traveler.
33. Optional Activities
Optional excursions and activities not included in your confirmed itinerary may be offered during your trip.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- These activities are operated by independent third-party providers.
- Participation is entirely voluntary.
- Such activities are undertaken at the traveler’s own risk.
- Separate terms and conditions of the activity provider may apply.
MoreIndia Travels accepts no responsibility for services purchased directly from independent suppliers during your journey.
34. Wildlife Activities
India is home to protected wildlife and national parks.
While we carefully arrange wildlife safaris, sightings of specific animals, including tigers, leopards, rhinos, elephants, or other wildlife, cannot be guaranteed.
National parks may occasionally close due to weather, conservation requirements, government regulations, or operational reasons.
Where possible, we will assist in arranging an alternative activity, but compensation will not normally be payable for missed wildlife sightings or park closures beyond our control.
35. Adventure Activities
Certain tours may include activities such as:
- Hiking
- Trekking
- Camel safaris
- Jeep safaris
- Cycling
- River rafting
- Boating
- Elephant encounters (where legally permitted)
- Other outdoor experiences
Participation in such activities involves inherent risks.
Travelers participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for those risks.
Appropriate clothing, footwear, and personal fitness are the responsibility of each traveler.
36. Medical Emergencies
In the event of illness, injury, or another medical emergency during your trip:
- We will make reasonable efforts to assist in obtaining medical treatment.
- Any medical expenses, evacuation costs, hospital charges, medications, ambulance services, or related expenses remain the traveler’s responsibility unless covered by travel insurance.
Travelers authorize MoreIndia Travels, where reasonably necessary and practical, to arrange emergency medical assistance on their behalf.
37. Baggage and Personal Belongings
Travelers are responsible for safeguarding their luggage and personal belongings at all times.
MoreIndia Travels is not liable for:
- Loss
- Theft
- Damage
- Delay
- Misplacement
of baggage or personal items except where directly caused by our proven negligence.
Valuable items such as passports, money, jewelry, electronics, cameras, and medicines should always remain in the traveler’s personal possession.
38. Lost Property
If personal belongings are lost during the tour, we will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating them.
However, recovery cannot be guaranteed, and any associated courier, shipping, customs, or administrative costs shall be borne by the traveler.
39. Photography and Marketing
During tours, photographs or videos may occasionally be taken by our staff or authorized representatives for promotional purposes.
Where permitted by applicable law, these images may be used on our website, social media channels, brochures, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
If you do not wish to appear in such materials, please notify us in writing before the start of your tour.
40. Data Protection and Privacy
MoreIndia Travels respects your privacy and processes personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including, where relevant, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal information collected may include:
- Name
- Contact details
- Passport information
- Travel preferences
- Emergency contact details
- Dietary requirements
- Payment information
- Other information necessary to provide your travel services
Your personal information may be shared only with trusted suppliers, hotels, transport providers, guides, government authorities, or other organizations where necessary to fulfil your booking or comply with legal obligations.

41. Intellectual Property
All content published by MoreIndia Travels, including but not limited to:
- Text
- Images
- Logos
- Videos
- Graphics
- Itineraries
- Maps
- Brochures
- Website design
is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
42. Website Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that information on our website is accurate and up to date.
However:
- Minor inaccuracies may occasionally occur.
- Hotel photographs are representative.
- Distances and travel times are approximate.
- Prices and availability may change without prior notice until confirmed.
We reserve the right to correct any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies at any time.
43. Complaints Procedure
We are committed to providing exceptional service.
If you encounter any issue during your trip, you must notify:
- Your local guide, tour manager, or driver; and
- MoreIndia Travels as soon as reasonably possible.
This gives us the opportunity to investigate the matter and, where feasible, resolve it during your trip.
If the issue remains unresolved, you should submit a written complaint with supporting details and evidence within 30 days of the end of your tour.
Complaints submitted after this period may be more difficult to investigate due to the passage of time and the availability of records.
Nothing in this clause limits any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under applicable law.
44. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply to customers under the laws of their country of residence.
45. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
46. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
47. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with your booking confirmation, itinerary, quotation, invoice, and any documents expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between the traveler and MoreIndia Travels regarding the booked travel services.
48. Amendments to These Terms
MoreIndia Travels reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply to your reservation unless otherwise required by law.
